RAM 1500 RHO & TRX
We ordered this RHO November of 24’ and received it in April of 25’. We did extensive fitment and testing of a new GEN2 kit for both RHO & TRX platforms to share. We want to thank Chad and the crew at Morrie’s in Chippewa Falls, WI for all their help!
RHO is Ram’s next generation for aggressive off-road use and has a suspension that performs with the same capabilities as the TRX. Towing an RV, Race Trailer or Boat was definitely not a primary objective! Design modifications to fit both TRX & RHO were required.
There’s 18.25” of full droop travel to account for. We learned a lot over the four + years manufacturing the GEN1 kit. Huge improvements were made to accomodate installation, daily driving, towing and service requirements. As with GEN1, it is easily removable for aggressive off-road use, but will not be required by most owners. The GEN2 kit reduces full compression by only 1.5” as pictures below will show, a vast improvement from the 5.5” of the GEN1. Days of testing were performed to fine tune prototypes into a refined production kit.
Installing the GEN2 kit is faster to install and easily maintained. Testing was done at 3 PSI on rough terrain and found that allows air springs compress to provided ample support from bottoming out. One air fill valve allows pressure to float side-to-side to accommodate greater articulation. This ASAM will provide complete adjustable control, and is a stainless steel bolt-in, no cut, no drill kit!
Any air source from a bike pump to an automatic air management system can be utilized. Please view our "AIR SYSTEMS" page for detailed information. Since introduction, our rugged kits have provided thousands of owners support and confidence while towing. Whatever you do with your truck, this kit will perform the task safely & effectively. Please review our "SAFETY" page.
Our design philosophy is to build them tough with quality components that perform without fail and stand behind every product 100%. Please view our "GENERAL INFO" page for detailed information.

Roland J. from MN stopped in with his Hennessey TRX for air springs and air system.
We’re happy it didn’t fall off the lift, it would have crushed insurance limits.
